The Cupertino Federated Women's Club will be awarding two college scholarships to seniors graduating from Fremont Union High School District this year. One scholarship is for $1,000 available to all senior students. The second scholarship is for $ 500 to be awarded is a music scholarship. To qualify for the music scholarship the student is required to have participated in music classes during high school years. Also, the student must intend to major or minor in music at the college level. this is the last year for the Music Scholarship. To qualify for the scholarships the students must be enrolled as a full time student within the Fremont Union High School District boundaries and must be planning on attending either a junior (community) college or a four year college.

2015 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Cupertino Federated Women's Clubs award several Scholarships each year to graduating Seniors

REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS:

1. Complete an application form.

2. Include three (3) letters of reference, in sealed envelopes.

References: Provide Three Letters of Recommendation

*Two Letters from a Teacher or Academic Advisor;

*One Letter from a Work or Volunteer Supervisor, a Youth Leader or Personal Acquaintance.

3. Include an official high school transcript complete with registrar’s stamp.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Postmark Friday, MAY 6th , 2015

Scholarships will be awarded on your school's senior awards night.

Application for Scholarship: Scholarship Guidelines

1. One scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1,000.00. Any student planning to attend either a junior (community) college, a four-year college may apply.

To qualify, the student must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 or more units) within the Fremont Union High School District.

2. An official high school transcript complete with a registrar’s stamp must be sent with the scholarship application form before the application will be considered for judging by the committee.

3. Judging is based on the entire application, not just grades. Student financial need is a factor taken into consideration.

4. Scholarship applications must be POSTMARKED BY MAY 1st, 2014
